Thanks for posting the pictures and videos, Bakerella! I had never heard (our thought) of culture jamming in this unique sense before. What a powerful way of educating the consumers in a more person-to-person manner. We can ignore the many billboards we pass on our way to work and school every day but the items and products on the shelf that we pick up at the grocery store are being welcomed into our homes - making it a more intense and personal way of looking at the issue these culture jammers are trying to open our eyes to. These truths and certainties cannot be over looked or taken for granted - it takes a creative, non-lazy eye to realize (and understand) the realities we are being sold. As much of them take similar shapes, colours, and sizes of the original product it is important for us, as the consumer (the target) to pay attention to details (the texts- the jams).
